Ivan Kmotrik, leader of the Slovak group, said he had a thought for the player in a declaration on the club's site, yet ensured that he would not sell for not exactly £ 6 million.

"We didn't make an offer," got some information about it in the press on Friday. "We are seeing decisions in improvement, anyway there have been no ideas on our part."

The Celtic supervisor conceded that Sporar was one of a few players the club was controlling since they plan to reinforce their attack in January.

"The realities affirm that Celtic FC sent us an offer and indicated massive eagerness for Andraz Sporar." Kmotrik said in the declaration. "There is eagerness from other large clubs in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal or Belgium.

"Right now there is an enormous interest and we expect that an altogether more noteworthy number of clubs will confront offers in January."
